Driving directions from Cancún International Airport: From the Airport exit, take Hwy 307 south and continue on Tulum Chenonal Hwy 45 miles into Puerto Aventuras. Follow signs posted on the left into the Resort.

Playa del Carmen is about 50 miles south of Cancún. Authorized taxis, buses, and rental cars offer the most convenient ways to get from the Cancún International Airport to Playa del Carmen. Transportation options and ticket booths are found as soon as you exit the airport. Authorized group taxi to Playa de Carmen for 2 to 9 people: more than $60 USD. You can arrange for an authorized group taxi to Puerto Aventrua: more than $90 USD per trip for 2 to 9 people. There is a direct bus line to Playa del Carmen from Cancún International Airport: $5–$15 USD. Once you arrive at the bus station you can take a taxi to your hotel: less than $5 USD. Getting around: The hotel is located 10 minutes south of Playa del Carmen in Puerto Aventuras and north of the Mayan ruins of Xcaret and Tulum. Puerto Aventuras is a resort community that has a commercial district offering shopping, restaurants, and clubs. From the hotel you can arrange for taxi service into Playa del Carmen: $5–$15 USD. Rental cars provide you with the freedom to tour the area at your leisure: more than $36 USD.

La Veranda - Offering open-air dining outside Da Vinci restaurant, La Veranda features pink and white linens and serves à la carte breakfasts and lunches. The menu includes Mexican and American fare in the mornings and salads, sandwiches, and seafood from afternoon to early evening.

Pina Colada - The resort's beach bar, this spot serves tropical drinks until sunset along with light meals. La Veranda's lunch menu is also available.

Amenity highlights: The Dolphin Discovery program in the large lagoon adjacent to the hotel's entrance offers shallow-water or scuba diving encounters with bottlenose dolphins.

Festooned with thatch-roof palapas for shade, and furnished with a volleyball net, the expansive, white-sand beach fronting the hotel is usually lapped by calm waters thanks to the coral reef just off shore. Beach waves are large enough to thrill children and, at times, accommodate boogie boarding.
